Williams Welcomes Start of Work on Trooperslane Park and Ride

Mid and East Antrim Alliance Councillor, Noel Williams, welcomes the start of work at Trooperslane Park and Ride, which is part of the Dept for Infrastructure Park and Ride programme.

Alderman Williams said: “This much needed facility will provide approximately 200 spaces at Trooperslane Translink Halt and will assist in meeting present and future demand from passengers on the Larne Line.

“I pass the site often and am convinced that this type of facility will fit very well with the Alliance’s Green New Deal which has affordable and accessible public transport at its heart.

“A number of Park and Ride facilities are planned across Northern Ireland and I am delighted that the first of the new batch is to be at Trooperslane”.
