Williams Welcomes Opening of the Sullatober Household Recycling Centre

Alderman Noel Williams has welcomed the opening, and near completion, of the Sullatober Household Recycling Centre in Carrickfergus. It is in the final stages of works and connections completion.

The general public started using the HRC on Monday 16 May and feedback has been extremely positive, as it ought to be with this state of the art facility. The Waste Transfer Station (which is where Refuse Lorries off load their contents before transferring onwards for disposal) will be completed shortly.

Alderman Williams concluded that the facility is free to householders and appropriate charges will apply to commercial users.
