Stewart Calls on the Executive to Deal with Brexit Issues Collaboratively

On the 1st February, Stewart spoke in the Chamber on the calls over the weekend for Article 16 to be invoked. He stated that the last thing we need is for a vaccine war, so the EU erred in threatening to trigger the clause, however parties have been hypocritical in criticising the EU, whilst simultaneously calling on the British government to invoke the same article.

The Alliance Party have been working hard to resolve the issues that Brexit has caused regarding SPS checks, pet passports, mutual recognition of qualifications, trade, and environmental issues, to name a few, and now call on the Executive to deal with the fallout through open discussion and genuine collaboration.
