The UK Kidney Association has agreed a new arrangement with ‘Patients Knows Best’ to re-platform their patient facing system ‘Patient View’ across the UK.

This has involved a period of transition to allow Trusts to undertake Cyber Security and Data Protection Impact Assessments consistent with digital governance requirements. These are now complete.

The UK Kidney Association and Patient Knows Best have been contacted and advised of the imminence of roll out in Northern Ireland. A registration email is to be forwarded to all patients who have consented to the previous Renal Patient View System. Patients will be able to follow this link and sign up online giving them access to available digital health records.
