Minister's Answer

The implementation of the NI Cancer strategy remains a priority for my Department since its launch in March 2022. Despite the many challenges presented over the proceeding years, considerable progress has been made by my officials within the constrained budgetary resources available. The prioritisation of the cancer strategy will be considered along with the many other compelling but competing demands for extra funding across the health and social care system at this time.
