Minister's Answer

Through an existing framework which includes planning policies; local development plans; guidance; environmental impact assessments; case law; pre-application community consultation; pre-application discussions; consultation with expert bodies and consideration at planning committee meetings I am content that the risks associated with these developments and any separation distances from residential properties can be addressed at present.
