Minister's Answer
While there are many roads across East Antrim constituency, including the B90 Old Carrick / Upper Road, that would benefit from investment, due to limited budget resources, resurfacing work is taken forward through the prioritisation of those deemed most in need for intervention.
Details of the planned list of resurfacing schemes for the 2025/26 financial year will be included within my Department’s Annual Report to Councils.
In the meantime, officials will continue to undertake regular inspections and repair defects in accordance with my Department’s policy.
