QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Mid & East Antrim Council are taking registrations for the QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF).

This is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification for people working, or planning to work in the food catering industry.

Participants will receive training in all areas regarding food safety and food handling with the option to ask questions. There will then be a face to face assessment the following day, if successfully completed, participants will obtain a QA Level 2 in Food Safety.

This course is free of charge.

Option 1

Tuesday 8th March

9.30am – 3.30pm online training via Zoom (Link will be sent this week).

Wednesday 9th March

10am – 12 o’clock. Two 45 minute face-to-face assessments (Location is Kells Room in Adair Arms Hotel Ballymena)

Option 2

Wednesday 23rd March

9.30am – 3.30pm training via Zoom (Link will be sent a few days before)

Thursday 24th March

10am – 12 o’clock - Two 45 minute face-to-face assessments (Location is Wilson Room in Larne Town Hall)
