First Ever Sitting of the Disabled People’s Parliament – Fri 3 Dec
The first ever sitting of the Disabled People’s Parliament will take place next Friday, 3 December, on International Day for People with a Disability.
Hosted by the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Alex Maskey MLA, the event will begin at 2.00pm in the Assembly Chamber in Parliament Buildings.
During the event, participants will be calling for ‘The United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities’ to be fully incorporated in legislation in Northern Ireland.
