Dickson Supports Samaritans ‘Longest Night’ Campaign

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, has said he is supporting the Samaritan’s ‘Longest Night’ Campaign, held today, 21st December.

Mr Dickson said: “This year has been extremely challenging for many people across Northern Ireland. Whilst the worst of the pandemic is behind us, the cost-of-living crisis has caused stress and anxiety in thousands of households.

“But for those struggling with their mental health, it is crucial to remember that help is available.”

Mr Dickson continued: “I know Christmas can be a hard time of year for many people – especially for those who have faced bereavement, financial worries, or any other hardship in 2022.

“That’s why I’m supporting the Samaritans ‘Longest Night’ Campaign, and why I urge everyone to check on your friends, family, work colleagues, and neighbours this Christmas.”
