Dickson Expresses his Condolences on the Death of HRH Prince Philip

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, has expressed his sympathy and condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family on the sad passing of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Mr Dickson said: “I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip. This is a national loss, but also of course, a personal loss of a husband, father and great grandfather.

“I offer my and the people of East Antrim’s sincere condolences and sympathy to Her Majesty the Queen and the wider Royal Family on this sad occasion. Prince Philip was an incredible man, with a remarkable story and who was dedicated to public service in this country and across the world.

"We will remember the immense contribution he made to our country, including the many years of steadfast support he provided to Her Majesty the Queen, and the excellent Duke of Edinburgh award programme, which helps young people reach their full potential.
