Dickson Expresses His Condolences in Letter to Mayor of Kazan

Stewart Dickson MLA, as rapporteur on regional democracy at the Council of Europe, has expressed his condolences to the victims, and their families, of a shooting at a school in Kazan, Russia.

Mr Dickson: "I was truly shocked to hear the sad news of the shooting in Kazan, Russia, which resulted in nine deaths including children. I condemn this appalling act of senseless violence. As part of my role on the Council of Europe, I have visited Kazan, and my thoughts are with them as they face this appalling tragedy."
