Dickson Calls for Extension to Application Deadline for High Street Shop Local Cards

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, has called for an extension to the deadline for the High Street Shop Local Card scheme.

Mr Dickson said: “The High Street voucher application process complications and delays are causing distress to thousands of people. I am advised that some 7,000 emailed application queries are backed up in the Department of the Economy, with no realistic chance of resolution before close of play on Monday 25 October, when the scheme is destined to close.
