To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on progress in developing a Social Value Bill.

Answer: The Procurement Board has developed an enhanced social value policy that will require contracting authorities to include a minimum weighting for social value in tender award criteria. I have asked Executive colleagues to approve this policy and once it is approved the appropriate legislative underpinning will be developed.
