Assembly Written Question 19642/17-22

To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 19025 17-22, (i) to detail the total costs that her Department has incurred to date in regards to the management loans to the Presbyterian Mutual Society; and (ii) whether a final report on the total costs to the Executive will be produced.

Answers: All costs, with the exception of salaries incurred by my Department, are fully recoverable from the Presbyterian Mutual Society scheme of arrangement.

My Department does not separately account for the time and salary costs of staff managing the loans to PMS. These costs are not separately identifiable and could only be recovered at disproportionate cost. It is anticipated that following the final outworking of PMS, a paper for the Executive will be prepared.
