Question: To ask the Minister for the Economy whether she will review electricity market regulations to ensure that barriers for the installation of new and updated electric vehicle charging points are minimised.

Answer: The Department is considering the legislative and regulatory framework for electric vehicle charging points as part of ongoing work on the Electricity Directive (EU) 2019/944 and the Energy Strategy.
